• Read Seminar 4 of The Sovereign and the Beast (delayed through snow but done)
• Awkward Silence (2 December - snowed off)

It seemed like a good idea at the time: I would buy an Explorer ticket and go and photograph the beach shelter at Margate and pick up a book by Levinas in Whitstable. To fill up the rest of the day I could check out Horseclans novels in Ramsgate and maybe have a coffee at Westwood Chaos or in Ramsgate. Rather oddly, I didn't know who Rhod Gilbert was until the encore - and encores are a funny thing (ahem) in comedy. You go to a gig, and they play music, but inexplicably leave out their biggest hit, which you shout for on the encore.
